MOVEMENT DIRECTION

Mazi Smazi is a movement director known for shaping performances that are as intentional as they are unforgettable. With a foundation in dance and a sharp eye for detail, she brings a rare mix of creative direction, body awareness, and live-stage sensibility to every project. Her work isn’t about filling space—it’s about making movement mean something.

Whether guiding talent through choreography or refining the flow of a live set, Mazi builds with precision, care, and clarity. She understands how to make performance feel both cinematic and human—rooted in emotion, but built to hit.

She’s directed movement for some of today’s most compelling artists, including Amaarae, Princess Nokia, and Jon Baptiste—Her credits span iconic stages like Coachella, Lollapalooza, Governor’s Ball, and Madison Square Garden, and her work has been featured in Rolling Stone.

Mazi’s contributions raise the bar—not just for how performance looks, but how it lands.
